The Orenburg production unit of ForteInvest (part of the Industrial and Financial Group SAFMAR of Mikhail Gutseriev) which includes PREOBRAZHENSKNEFT, GEOPROGRESS and Oilgaztet has been headed by the new Director General Vil Fakhretdinov since February 5, 2020.
On February 7, 2020, during a working meeting between Denis Pasler, Governor of the Orenburg Region, and Said Gutseriev, CEO of ForteInvest, the new head of the Orenburg production unit of ForteInvest Vil Fakhretdinov was introduced to the Governor. During the meeting, issues related to the social and economic interaction between the holding and the region were discussed.
Vil Fakhretdinov graduated from the Ufa State Oil Technical University with a degree in Development and Operation of Oil and Gas Fields, as well as the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo (Executive MBA).
He has been working at oil and gas enterprises since 1998, moving from process engineer to the head of a production enterprise. He began his career at Surgutneftegaz. Over a number of years, V. Fakhretdinov worked as Director General at various producing enterprises: Messoyakhaneftegaz (TNK-BP, Rosneft), Pechoraneft (NK Alliance), Novatek-Tarkosaleneftegaz (NOVATEK).
V. Fakhretdinov has extensive experience in the fields of Western Siberia, in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District, the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, and in the conditions of the Arctic autonomy beyond the Arctic Circle.
The Orenburg production unit of ForteInvest includes PREOBRAZHENSKNEFT, GEOPROGRESS and Oilgaztet. Activities are carried out at seven fields in the Orenburg Region..
