The Ministry of Energy announced a cut in the oil export schedule for August
Russia is reducing its oil export schedule as a part of the voluntary reduction of supplies from Russian Federation in August, the Russian Ministry of Energy reported.
Both pipeline and marine shipments will be reduced, in particular oil transportation for the third quarter of 2023 will be reduced by about 2.1 million tons.
"In accordance with the decision on voluntary reduction of oil exports by the Russian Federation in August 2023 by 500 000 barrels per day, the schedule of oil transportation through trunk lines outside Russia by shipping directions for the third quarter of 2023 will be reduced in the amount of about 2.1 million tons, which corresponds to the indicated level of export reduction for August", — stated in a message in the Ministry of Energy's Telegram channel.
" The reduction in the export schedule will affect both shipments to Russian seaports (Novorossiysk, Primorsk, Ust-Luga) and pipeline supplies ", — the Ministry adds.
