Export oil tax after January 1 will be reduced by $13.3 and amount to $77.2 per ton

After January 1, export tax on petroleum in Russia will amount to $77.2 per ton according to the materials of the Ministry of Finance. Today, it amounts to $90.5 per ton. Therefore, it will be reduced by $13.3. 

Average cost of Urals oil for the monitored period from November 15 to December 14 amounted to $64.54119 per barrel, or $471.2 per ton. 

The tax on high viscosity oil will be reduced to $7.7 from $9. 

Discounted tax rates applied to oil from Eastern Siberia, Caspian deposits and the Prirazlomnoye field will remain equal to zero due to the new calculation formula accepted within the framework of tax manoeuvre in the oil industry.
